About Your Presenter

Rodger has created, implemented, and taught marketing   programs for business, industry and government since 1996. His experience travels across the spectrum of manufacturing, service, distributing, sales and marketing. He has been involved in many positions and industries from a young age.  Starting as a pizza delivery person at the age of 17, Rodger was the restaurant manager by the age of 19. Working in production for Bowen Enterprises, a medical label manufacturer, Rodger quickly became the production manager at 21, the San Diego sales rep at 21, and then the Southern California/Arizona Sales manager at the age of 23. By the time Rodger was 26, he was the National Sales Consultant for Polemedco, an international medical/anesthesia products company. He was responsible for establishing and training distributors across the United States and Canada. Rodger also worked in the field with distributor sales representatives across the United States and Canada, making sales calls on anesthesiologists and medical teams.  In addition, he worked closely with the marketing department on trade shows and medical conventions.

      In 1982 he started his own company, RB Price Company, Inc as a distributor and manufacturer’s representative of medical products and printing for hospitals. Phasing out of the medical products side of the business several years later, Rodger moved his company to a complete print management business selling to businesses, hospitals, manufacturers, industries, and the government. He was so successful he purchased a competitors business and went on to increase other product sales in these new customer accounts.  He sold his business to Eagle Print Management in 1999 but still maintains close ties with his customers through Eagle and through various consulting projects. At the time he sold his company, Rodger’s marketing and sales efforts increased sales 700% and profits by 500%.

      Rodger speaks from experience because he has lived it in real business life. A dynamic and outstanding speaker, Rodger has presented at regional and national Conferences to all size groups. Rodger is a member of the National Speakers Association, sits on the board of San Diego Chapter and is President-Elect.  He also sits on the Promotions Committee of the San Diego Better Business Bureau and donates his time as an emcee to various charitable organizations.

   Rodger has been listed in Who’s Who Among Young Professionals, Who’s Who in California, nominated for Jaycee Citizen of the Year in San Diego, Nominated for Venture Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, and was a San Diego Child Abuse Prevention Foundation Volunteer of the Year recipient. He is the author of magazine articles and his own monthly E-Zine, Primal Marketing Tips.
